The Tavernicoli trio was formed in 2003, with the goal of creating a new sound that would capture the melodic beauty of an acoustic show while simultaneously appealing to a more critical audience, through the performance of a virtuoso rhythm section. Thanks to their ability to blend different music styles, the group has indeed realized this combination, blending traditional grooves (using acoustic instruments like guitars, djembè, conga, darabukka, didgeridoo, udu drumming, etc.) with more progressive rock, folk, and hypno-psychedelic vibes. The result is a truly unforgettable mix of something at once global and experimental, while at the same time emotional and magic. Tavernicoli have performed in various shows and contests, from rock festivals to well established Italian jazz clubs.

The group took third prize at Bologna Trimi's Festival, out of 600 acts drawn from all over Europe, while finishing second at Suzzara's Rockcastle Festival and third at Verona's Pojan On The Rock. They were a special guest at Acoustica Unplugged and Non Stop Festival in San Donà di Piave, as well as at the Buskers Festival in Ferrara. The group have also appeared in France, both in Avignon and Arles. Nel luglio del 2006 ad Arezzo Wave Love Festival.
